Bollywood is India’s ultimate fashion destination. The people of the country look up to Bollywood and its array of beauties whose style choices inspire us all. Be it on set or off screen, each of their outfit choices are scrutinized carefully. So here’s looking at those divas whose wardrobe choices made it straight to our (P)interest boards in 2016:
1. Sonam Kapoor- Her sartorial choices keep us hooked. When it comes to her you can be sure to be wowed by her choices which are mostly novel and unique and of course always on trend. 2016 saw her not only wearing her favourite labels but also wearing new ones that was a pleasure to watch. We definitely want more this year.
2. Kareena Kapoor- The actress was an absolute delight to watch as she became a new mother. Her maternity style was anything but drab. From pretty dresses to beautiful gowns and prettier accessories, she glowed inside out. And nailed each of the outfits like the royalty she is.
3. Priyanka Chopra- The charm that surrounds this actress especially after her international debut is hard to ignore. Priyanka sure does know how to keep the glamour quotient high be it the red carpets at home or abroad or even just her off duty style.
4. Sonakshi Sinha- When it comes to off-duty style the one diva you can’t ignore is Sonakshi Sinha. The past year she tried everything from the very on trend chokers to long flows shirt dresses while never failing to look as good on the red carpet with those pretty wardrobe choices.
5. Aditi Rao Hydari- This pretty lady has been a stunner since day one. The woman surely knows what to wear and has a strong style game going on. Our favourite has to be the elaborate head bands that adorned her crown along with the beautiful form fitting gowns on the red carpets last year. Always pretty as a picture.
6. Alia Bhatt- The bubbly youngster is no stranger to us when it comes to stylish choices. Her experiments with her style be it girly and fun or cool and sexy inspires so many young women. Never a dull moment with this style maven.
7. Deepika Padukone- This bolly beauty has an effortless sense of style. She seems to get glamorous by the hour. Be the pantsuits or the gorgeous gowns, she is a beauty to watch. And with her own line, All About You, you can now get your wardrobe updated to match this stylish diva.
8. Athiya Shetty- This B-town newbie has some serious style game up her sleeves. Her style is marriage between comfort and cool. She never stopped to turn heads and we just can’t have enough of her the past year with all those pantsuits, dresses and the number of bomber jackets and sneakers.
9. Kangana Ranaut- The beautiful actress is known for her stylish choices. From couture wear to Indian traditional attire, Kangana carried it all with such grace. And you can’t miss her off duty looks too that were just as cool.
10. Nargis Fakhri- The diva known for her no-fuss outfits is none other than Nargis Fakhri. But it is not just casual wear each or her red carpet looks that has got us swooning over her. The exotic holiday outfits last year were everything that Instagram dreams are made of. No doubt she rocks the world of the ‘Gram.
These women have killed it in 2016. And now we wait for what they have in store for the year ahead. And we would love to see some new faces added to the list.
